What is a Special Inspector or a Deputy Inspector?
If you have a project under-construction and you encounter a note on your plan requesting a special inspection by a deputy inspector thats where we come in. A Deputy Inspector or a Special Inspector are the same thing. Deputy inspectors are a third-party inspectors that are required by the California Building code on all jurisdictions throughout California for all construction sites. While Deputy Inspectors are not city employees they are required to be properly licensed to provide specialty Inspections.
